To Charles and all the Staff at the Masai Mara Bush Camp,

I had stayed at the camp in 2008 (brought a group from USA then) and again this year you did not disappoint us at all.

This time I brought my son and our stay lived up to our expectations and more! It was like coming home! Most of the same staff who are now friends (can't wait to go back) are so friendly and attentive to all our wants and needs. We had a fantastic time, food was exquisite,(hats off to the chef!) service unparalleled, accommodation so comfortable, safe and secure. All staff were courteous, polite, helpful and made you feel at home. There is nothing I would change and nothing more I could ask for. We were so sad to leave.

Our guide Francis was wonderful, also so attentive to our needs showed us everything, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We will certainly request him for our next trip.
Whenever I am in the Masai Mara I will stay at no other place than The Mara Bush Camp!

I will recommend this camp to anyone visiting Masai Mara.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! See you all again in 2011!

Liebes Mara Bush Camp Team

Choosing to spend New Year's at Mara Bush Camp was one of the best decisions we have made! And what a blast we had...who would have thought such a great feast could be laid out in the wild on New Year's eve!

All 4 days we spent at the camp were brilliant! We had a lot of fun, but then again I didn't expect any less having stayed there numerous times before. Everyone of us was thrilled to be there. The staff were *** and hats off to your chef he did an excellent job especially for the vegetarians. That was the only place throughout our safari that they did not complain about the vegetarian food.

Francis our guide was one of the best and showed us everything we could ask for. We all miss him dearly.

I will definitely keep sending on my clients to the only camp in the Mara where I know they will have the time of their lives!

Best wishes for 2010!

My favourite getaway lies in the heart of Big Cat country. Mara Bush Camp situated on a bend of the Olare Oruk, a tributary of the Talek, is the perfect location in the Maasai Mara. The camp itself has gone from strength to strength over the years. Understated luxury and good food combined with professional, efficient and yet friendly staff makes this camp stand out from the herd! wine out of stylish Kitengela glasses, *** menus (I have cooked in the bush but never managed a Zanzibari fish soup), picnic breakfast, next to the river, with hot porridge and fresh mango (it was what I had ordered!!. It is the attention to detail which is so commendable. the number of repeat guests is high, so its fun to catch up with old friends there too.
Then there is the game viewing. Admittedly the Mara is THE place to see wildlife, but it still takes a good guide (and even a small portion of luck) to find, get in a good position and photograph the animals and birds. It's also wonderful to sit and watch. If you spend all your time looking through the viewfinder you will only experience a fraction of the action. I had a brilliant time with a great haul of pictures, but more importantly I have the memories of leopard cubs playing on the river bank and the flock of yellow billed storks searching for fish in the Talek. All this will brighten my days until I return to Mara Bush Camp in the not too distant future!
